Chris Namus,WPBF Women's World Champion!

22-year-old Uruguayan boxing star Chris Namus (11-1,4 KOs) won the vacant WPBF women's world super lightweight title with an impressible seventh-round TKO victory over Adriana Salles (11-5-1,5 KOs) of Brazil on Saturday night,February 13,2010 at Hotel Conrad Punta del Este Resort & Casino, Maldonado, Uruguay.

 

In a scheduled ten-rounder,the aggressive Uruguayan Namus steadily broke down Salles, finally dropping Salles two times in round four and round six and the referee Anibal Andrade finally stopped the fight at the 1:23 mark of the seventh round. Winner by TKO Chris Namus. Namus becomes the new WPBF women's world super lightweight champion.
